The Tambola ticket or card has 3 horizontal rows/lines and 9 vertical columns with a total of 27 boxes. Each line has 5 numbers on it and four boxes are left blank. Thus a ticket has a total on 15 numbers. The first vertical column can have numbers from 1 to 9, the second column from 11 to 19, the third column from 21 to 29, and so on and the last column can have numbers from 81 to 90.

The winning combinations on Tambola tickets are:

  1. Early five. The ticket that is first to have any 5 called numbers.
  2. Four corners. The ticket that is first to have all the four corners called numbers. The four corners are 1st and last numbers of top and bottom rows.
  3. Top line. The ticket that is first to have all the 5 numbers of the top horizontal line as called numbers.
  4. Middle line. The ticket that is first to have all the 5 numbers of the middle horizontal line as called numbers.
  5. Bottom line. The ticket that is first to have all the 5 numbers of the bottom horizontal line as called numbers.
  6. Full house. The ticket that is first to have all the 15 numbers as called numbers.

Claiming the Winning Combination

As soon as, you have marked of the numbers of a winning combination on your ticket, press the Claim button before the next number is called. On the new screen that appears, select the winning combination or combinations that you are claiming. If the winning combination claimed by you is correct, you will get the winning amount. If the claim is incorrect, your ticket will be declared Bogey.

In Tambola it is very important to claim the winning combination immediately before the next number is called by the dealer. If a player hesitates or delays the claim and the next number is called, the claim is considered invalid or bogey. When there is a bogey, the ticket is cancelled.

We want to give everyone a chance to win something in the game. Keeping that in mind, we offer multiple claims in our game. In other words, in games with a large number of players, there can be multiple claims made on a victory condition. For example, if someone claimed a top line, someone else can also make a top line claim.

Each condition has a different coloured tab. Whenever a player makes a claim, the respective claim tab will pop-up from the bottom of the screen and reward the player. This tab shows the claim, and the counter shows how many claims of that particular condition are left.
